I made a wood order from Shane at Highmountain on Friday and it already arrived today! The wood is great and the packaging was superb.

I'm excited about my new wood. Can you tell?

Thanks Shane!

Shane's a good man with a good product. Isn't waiting for the delivery truck torture and great fun at the same time?BlueSpirit38637.6055439815

Doug,

You are right. I hate not knowing when it's coming, but it always makes me so happy when it does arrive. I didn't expect my wood from Shane until next week.

Graham, good to see another lower mainlander on the OLF, Jason and I have been lonely, sort of.

Graham,

I'm glad to hear that the package arrived already! And that you like the wood. We will all be waiting for the pictures as and when the build happens.

Thanks to you!

Shane

Hey Rod,

Good to hear from another local builder. How long have you been building for?

Shane,

I'll post a picture when I get the rosette installed. That's where I got to when I realized that I had misplaced the sound hole on the last top.

Thanks

Yay Fraser Valley. We should start a support group.

Sounds great Graham, I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. I hope you don't loose the sound hole on this one! (misplaced...lost...couldn't resist! Sorry )

Talk soon

Graham, built my first in 2002, working on #4 right now, have a small 185 sft shop in the back yard, nearly as big as Jason's shop (ya right).

Jason, I think the support group would be good, as long as there is beer and nacho's every meeting. If we had it at my place there could only be the three of us as the shop is so small.

Or maybe it should be a Canucks support group after the beating they took tonight.

We would some how have to find a way for Shane to be a remote BC member of the group though, can't leave any BCers behind you know.
